Reporter. Storyteller.

I'm a Chicago-based reporter covering politics, immigration, education and health. I've reported for The Daily Line in Chicago, PublicSource in Pittsburgh, IndyStar in Indianapolis and Washingtonian in D.C., and I served as managing editor of the Indiana Daily Student, where I led a staff of more than 75 and directed coverage of the 2024 elections.

I'm drawn to long-form features that hold power accountable and spend time with the people policy affects. My work has won first place at the Pinnacle College Media Awards three times.
